2. Adjustment of impeller:
In order to ensure the efficient operation of the Horizontal Centrifugal Slurry Pump, it is necessary to adjust the clearance between the impeller and the front guard plate in time. The clearance between the impeller and the front guard plate of the metal lined Horizontal Centrifugal Slurry Pump pump is between 0.5-1mm, and the clearance between the impeller of the rubber lined pump and the front and rear sheath is equal. When adjusting the impeller clearance, first stop the pump, loosen the bolts that compress the bearing assembly, screw the nuts on the adjusting bolts to move the bearing assembly forward, and at the same time rotate the shaft by hand according to the rotation direction of the Horizontal Centrifugal Slurry Pump until the impeller rubs against the front guard plate. For the metal lined pump, loosen the nuts just tightened in front for half a circle. Then screw down the nut at the front of the adjusting bolt to move the bearing assembly backward. At this time, the clearance between the impeller and the front guard plate is between 0.5-1mm. For the rubber lined Horizontal Centrifugal Slurry Pump pump, screw the nut on the adjusting bolt to move the bearing assembly forward first, so that the impeller and the front guard plate contact, and then move the bearing assembly backward, so that the impeller and the rear guard plate contact, and measure the total contact distance of the bearing assembly The distance is generally used as the clearance between the impeller and the front and rear sheath. Then adjust the position of the bearing assembly with the adjusting bolt to ensure the correct clearance between the impeller and the front and rear sheath. After adjustment, before starting again, it is necessary to recheck whether the impeller rotates normally, whether the compression bolt of bearing assembly and adjustment bolt are tightened, and then start the Horizontal Centrifugal Slurry Pump
