Far distance 500m submerged mud pump are vertical, shaft dirven cnetrifugal slury pumps designed for transferring abraisive and high density slurries from sumps, pits and other submersible sources. 

MSP Models are available in sizes ranging from 40mm to 250mm discharge and are capable of flow rates from 5 to 350 liters per second (79-5540USGPM) at heads of up to 40 meters (130ft).

The heavy duty design of the MSP pumps allows the passage of large particles with a diameter of up to 50mm.

Selection basis: flow head, speed, slurry concentration, particle size, settling velocity, inlet and outlet diameter. Usually, we need to provide accurate parameters when purchasing the pump. We will select the appropriate pump type for you according to the data provided.


Common selection problems when you send inquiry

  1. If the pump is too large, it means that the flow rate and head are larger than the actual needs, cavitation will occur, damage the over-flow parts, and even cause vibration and noise, even lead to slurry pump can not run; in addition, long-term large flow operation will lead to motor overload, heat, and even burn out the motor.

  2. If the pump selection is too small, the outlet pressure will be small and the discharge will be slow, which will affect the efficiency of the whole production process. In addition, long-term low flow operation may cause pump shaft fracture.

  3. If the speed of the pump is too high, it will cause excessive wear of the flow passage parts, reduce the service life, increase the maintenance times and the cost of replacement parts.

  4. If the average flow rate of the pump is too low and the average flow rate of the pump is lower than the settling velocity, the pipeline will be blocked and the slurry pump can not normally transport slurry.
