The working principle of multistage centrifugal pump
The impeller drives the liquid to rotate at high speed, which makes the liquid produce centrifugal force and obtain energy. In this way, the liquid in the suction chamber at the front side of the first stage impeller enters the first stage impeller. After the impeller does work on it, it is thrown into the first stage guide wheel. After the energy is transferred by the first stage guide wheel, it enters the second stage impeller. The second stage impeller continues to work on it, then enters the second stage guide wheel, and so on, until it is thrown out from the last stage impeller, collected by the volute, and sent to the discharge outlet for discharge.
Performance characteristics
Multi stage pump is mainly used for mine drainage, urban and factory water supply. Compared with piston pump, diaphragm pump and other reciprocating pumps, it can also pump larger flow. Multi stage centrifugal pump has high efficiency and can meet the needs of high head and high flow conditions. It has been widely used in petrochemical, chemical, electric power, construction, fire protection and other industries.
